Friends of Contemporary Art (FOCA) works actively as an advocate for contemporary art by supporting exhibitions at the New Mexico Museum of Art, helping the
Museum acquire exciting new art (see below), sponsoring visiting speakers from the
contemporary art world and arranging private studio visits to generate
dialogue between artists and members. FOCA usually offers eight member
events per year, where members enjoy educational and cultural programs
within social settings.
In addition to the art FOCA has contributed to for the Museum, it also has helped sponsor numerous contemporary art exhibitions.
The current schedule of programs and more information on the organization is on the FOCA web page> Join FOCA!
