Friends of Contemporary Art + Photography (FOCA+P) works actively as an advocate for contemporary art and photography by supporting exhibitions at the New Mexico Museum of Art, helping the Museum acquire exciting new art, sponsoring visiting speakers from the contemporary art world and organizing artist studio tours to generate dialogue between artists and members. FOCA+P offers eight member events each year, where members enjoy educational and cultural programs within social settings.

- Open to artists residing in New Mexico and the bordering states of Texas, Oklahoma,
- Colorado, Utah, and Arizona
- Five to nine artists will be selected, each represented with a developed body of work
- $5000 FOCA+P Prize
- Exhibition opens April, 17, 2015 at the New Mexico Museum of Art
Art on the Edge is the fourth biennial juried exhibition to be shown at the New Mexico Museum of Art. Artists will be chosen through an online jurying process by juror Nora Burnett Abrams, Associate Curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Denver.
