Volunteer

volunteersThe New Mexico Museum of Art offers volunteers a wide range of art-related projects in which they can help the paid staff. We are greatly indebted to our volunteers for the thousands of hours of service they donate each year.  Opportunites to volunteer include:

Docent Program

Docents that have been trained by the Museum of Art offer tours:

Docents attend a 6-month training course and monthly education meetings. Docents typically volunteer 100 hours to the museum annually.

For information about the docent program, call Ellen Zieselman at 505-476-5075 or email.

Other Opportunities

The librarian needs help with the annual book sale fundraiser from February through June of each year.  Please fill out the application for book sale volunteers and return to Rebecca Potance by email or in person.  We also need help with social media, website programming and other special projects at the museum.  For information about volunteering for these opportunities, call or email Rebecca Potance at 505-476-5061.
