A Talk with Window Box Artist Anna Rotty

Join us for an artist presentation and engagement with Window Box Artist Anna Rotty. Anna Rotty is an artist and teacher whose photographic observations and material studies explore light, water, and infrastructure. The Window Box installation, Shallows Unfolding, recalls memories of the Rio Grande as constructed landscapes and photographic explorations. Through manipulation of orientation and place, Anna uses light to examine the ephemeral and emotional aspects of the natural world. Following the presentation, there will be a community conversation about observations and relationships to water in the high desert.
