Artist Talk & Community Donation Drive

Visitors are invited to join Linda Mae Tratechaud for an artist talk on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. The program will offer an opportunity to hear directly from the artist about personal experiences, materials, and ideas that shaped The Promise (Or, A Resting Reality Room of Her Own), on view in the Window Box at the Vladem Contemporary until November 1, 2026.

In conjunction with the event, attendees are encouraged to bring donations of new, sealed baby wipes, baby formula, gently used or new baby clothes, maternity wear, and baby equipment to benefit Many Mothers Santa Fe. The community donation drive extends the exhibition’s exploration of caregiving beyond the gallery, providing tangible support for local families while reinforcing the exhibition’s themes of care, resilience, and mutual aid.

Many Mothers is a Santa Fe organization offering compassionate home visiting, family-centered community, and basic needs support for mothers and infants, ensure that every baby in New Mexico has a healthy and happy start to life.
