Lunchtime Conversation with Oswaldo Maciá

Join us on Wednesday, October 18 at 12:30PM for a conversation between Oswaldo Maciá, artist-in-residence, and Curator of Contemporary Art, Alexandra Terry. For his residency, Oswaldo has created El Cruce, a sound sculpture based on natural audio of migrating animals and insects, currently installed on the Ashlyn Perry Studio Terrace. Terry and Maciá will discuss the artists’ practice at large, as well as his work now on view in the Dee Ann McIntyre in Memory of Scotty McIntyre Artist Studio. 

This event will take place in the Van Mabee Education Center at the New Mexico Museum of Art Vladem Contemporary. Guests are welcome to bring a bagged lunch.
