In celebration of the exhibition Reclaiming the Future: The Legacy of Japanese American Incarceration,The New Mexico Museum of Art will present a booth with art-making and educational resources at AKI MATSURI, the annual Japanese Fall Festival presented by NM Japanese American Citizens League on Sunday, September 27th, 2026, from 10am-5pm!
The full day family-friendly event features Japanese cultural exhibits, vendor fair, musical demonstrations, Japanese art, martial arts, Cosplay competition, Japanese food, SUSHI, Beer and Sake booth and more!
