Route 66 Community Day

Join the New Mexico Museum of Art, the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, New Mexico History Museum and the Museum of International Folk Art in celebrating the Centennial of Route 66. This event will begin downtown on Old Santa Fe Trail across from the Roundhouse with a classic car show at 10:00 a.m.
A car cruise from downtown up to Museum Hill will begin at 12:00 p.m. On Museum Hill, there will be a car show and demonstrations along with the Dine ‘Tah Navajo Dancers, music from the Jacob Shije Trio and Los Domingueros, story time, face painting and discussions of the meaning and impact of Route 66 on New Mexico.
Food trucks including Freshies Juices, Laguna Burger, Over The Moon, Palateria Oasis, Sno Cloud and Taqueria Gracias Madre will be on-site.

Car Crawl to Museum Hill – 12:00-12:30pm
Events on Milner Plaza – 11:00 am – 5:00pm
