Houston ensemble The Suffers is redefining the sound of Gulf Coast Soul, weaving together classic American soul, rock and roll, reggae, and hip-hop. The multi-piece group is anchored by the powerhouse voice of lead singer Kam Franklin. With horns blazing and Franklin’s voice soaring, they’ve got a groove that won’t let you stand still.

Since bursting onto the national scene with their acclaimed 2015 EP and 2016 self-titled debut, The Suffers have played sold-out shows in Japan and Latin America, performed at prestigious festivals like Newport Folk and Afropunk, and won over audiences everywhere with their live shows.
