New Mexico Art Book Club

Is there anything more enjoyable than looking at art and talking about books?  We at the Museum Library don’t think so and that’s why we host an art-themed book club!

Our next book club meeting will be Noon, Sunday September 7, at the Vladem Contemporary.  We will be discussing Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross’ book Your Brain on Art: How the Arts Transform Us

After some initial discussion we’ll move into the exhibition Timeless Mucha: The Magic of Line to continue exploring themes, ideas, and experiences raised by the text.
