Organ Recital Series - Part II

Frederick Frahm, composer, organist, publisher, and parish musician was born in California in1964. A graduate of Pacific Lutheran University (Tacoma), Frahm directed church musicprograms across the US for 40 years before retiring in 2021. From 2011 to 2022, he served as acollaborative teaching artist (composer, accompanist) for the Santa Fe Opera CompanyLifeSongs & Active Learning Through Opera (ALTO) programs. Frahm’s catalog of compositionsincludes works for organ, choral music, chamber pieces, art song and song cycle, a symphonyand concerto, operas and cantatas. He is a founding director for Firehead Organ Works.
