Wine Tasting

Join us after Frederico Vigil’s artist talk to sample wine from two of New Mexico’s premier wineries, Vara and Mission. Vara wines are inspired by New Mexico’s boundary-pushing culture and the state’s nearly 400-year history of winemaking. Mission has familial connection to the land and its vineyards infuse their wine with a sense of history and pride that resonates throughout every bottle produced.

Learn about the history of wine in New Mexico and its significance in the culture of New Mexico today.  You can also learn more about what wines might be best for you by trying out Ideum’s first-of-its-kind interactive digital tabletop wine tasting experience where you can select and share the flavors you are tasting.
